Having the right gear for the job will insure that you will land that trophy fish you have been looking for your entire life.
Fall season is here and we fish in some extremely shallow clear water. This means having the right rod and reels matched with the correct line and leader is as important as finding that perfect spot to fish. This time of year while on Tampa fishing charters I prefer to use the St. Croix 8ft Tide master rods which make for a great live bait option. Matching a reel to the rod is just as important as the entire package and needs to be balanced as light as possible.
