Well its almost here, Tarpon Season. Starting during the months of May and June Tarpon make there way up the coast and invade the beaches and passes of Tampa Bay. For those of you that have not caught or hooked a Tarpon you are missing out on a fight of a lifetime. Sizes range from 50 to 200lbs and the battle of the Silver King can exceed 2 hours leaving both the fish and you laying sideways gasping for air. Tarpon fishing is more than just a fish being caught, its an experience of a lifetime. From the beautiful scenery of Florida’s top rated beaches to the silver beast breaching the water as they slowly make there way down the beaches around St Petersburg and Tampa Bay.
